Budget: around 2k
Requirement: Should play current games atleast at med settings
Budget less and requirement more, that's why settling for a used one. Have been saving for a long time for a 6600gt type card. But i guess i can't afford a new one :-(

You can go for XFX geforce 256 MB shared. It comes around Rs. 2k. You should have atleast 512 MB RAM.

I have 1 GB RAM. Which Model are you talking about? Can you post some links?

i think he's taling about some Turbo cache card (6200) , those cards have their own memory , and take more from system memory for processing .

(actually , they'r not good :| )

I know that they are not that powerfull like a 6600 or others. but you look at his budget. Its 2k. My friend has a such a card. And games like DOOM III, Quake 4, Tomb Raider: Legend, Far Cry are running smoothly at a good fps in his system.:)
