Sony Ericsson is releasing a new firmware in the mid-december. Update through SEUS and you will have some new softwares.

No, you will need to download the software from the Sony Ericsson website and install it. Then run it and follow the onscreen instructions. It's pretty simple stuff actually. Just make sure you backup your important data before upgrading because the phone will be wiped clean of any existing data.
