Applying cheatcodes

I never used cheatcodes for completing a game but today I installed Cheatbook 2006 provided with Digit DVD, & so I decided to try cheatcodes first time. I searched for Project-IGI (I M Going In) & found cheatcodes like Type NADA at main menu. I m unable to understand that where shud I type that. Other games also have cheatcodes like type at........ but no such place found to apply a cheatcode.

Can anyone tell me that how to do?

type at mainmenu dont look for a textbox only write
P.S.:Some games have options for cheatcode but IGI do not :D

OK. I will try.

One more thing, cheatcodes for DeuxEX r like Edit user.ini file & for a key just add Say. e.g. Tilde=Say. So when Tilde will b pressed during game, some white color text will b shown, just apply the cheatcode there. But in my my case, nothing happened. Can someone help me?

in Hitman it worked but i dont know about other games
