Yeh Motorola A1200 Kaisa hai ?

Hi Guys I need your opinion | Feedback & advice about Motorola A1200. I've seen the product specification and found it really good but I have some questions about the phone.

a.) Howz the performance as a PDA and as a Phone ?
b.) Are the dimensions moderate ? I've not been able to get my hands on a model yet.
c.) Is it comfortable enough to receive calls I don't see the Ear speakers on the glass flap so where r they ? Or do one needs a hands free with it all the time ?
d.) The phone is based on Linux OS. Are applications for Linux Mobile platform available ?
e.) Is there any worthy alternative in / around the same price band ? It's available for Rs. 16,700 at the local Mobile Shop here, whats the best price in your knowledge ?

And the Motorola logo on the flap is the earpiece..Awesome isn't it..!!

w710i is already out in the market. it costs around 15.9 k . Features are similar to that of a w810i. But it costs more because its clamshell.

Well my friend has this phone . The camera isn't that good even for a 2MP .
Also the Business card reader isn't that good . As for other things a flip keypad with better speakers wud have been nice but overall it is a good phone.
Go for SE M600i if u aren't that interested in having a camera.

Final Verdict :Cool phone but lacks in features & kind of requires delicate handling .

(Wait for 3-5 yrs at around 10k it definitely is a steal . ) LOL


& no matter what u r told abt it being a linux phone u can still get many apps.

The w790i has got some extras like a pedometer, altitude meter and other sports software. It also has a better held head pphones which dont drop off while you are running. It is direct competion with the Nokia 5500.
