View Full Version : Jeefo Virus in Compressed Files

I have some compressed (Winzip & WinRAR) files. Contents of compressed files r exe. Some of the compressed files r infected with Jeefo Virus. Virus is not active in memory. I m using Norton 2005 with latest update. Norton detects virus in compressed files but unable to repair them. Is there any other solution? I want repaired files but they shudn't got corrupted. Is there any solution?

Since norton is unable to repair them, try Nod32 or Avast. They are much better and less resource hungry.

Since your PC is not infected with jeefo, Pl back up the system registry and take a backup of important files (especially exe files)

If the zip file do gets corrupted after removal of virus, you may want to try Advanced zip repair.

try the avast.... its the best.....
and also u can try by zone alarm... this is also working nice......
as @ kl_ravi @ said download the advanced zip repair in case needed 4m the following site...(its a trial version)

if an exe is infected by jeefo virus do there anyway to restore it
