explorer crashes on opening a folder...

hello ppl...
i hav a folder on my primary HDD..which contains files related to my project.
on opening the folder the explorer crashes...and the error report dialogue pops up.
i hav scanned the HDD using Zonealarm antivirus and spyware...with no results.

ne sugesstions what could be the problem....

I noticed that the folder view is set to Thumbnails currently!
Just change the folder view to "Tiles view" or "icons view" or "details" etc.

yup,as vishal suggested,it's most probably a problem with the thumbnail rendering.
