1st of all thanks a lot TechGuru#1 For all ur assistance.At least i don't have to bear the shipping cost of abt 30$ importing from us.

i know buddy moserbaer is good too.very often me also use it.but to me data storage means for long life archival.that's why i prefer Maxell,Verbatim,Taiyo Yuden***.
***Many of us even doesn't know,those Which company lauches Xbox,PS2/3,Gamecube,Nitendo Game CDs/DVDs,they use onlyTaiyo-Yuden Branded CDs.Thay R The Most Reliable.That's Why.

thnx mate , but i knew bout that , n MoserBaer is not bad too , if u want long-term archival use Mosebaer Gold or MoserBaer pro , both are meant for longterm archival n will server your purpose well . btw MoserBaer is also a contributing member of the Blu Ray disk assocation .

please don't take my post as a sarcastic remark , but seriusly , we indians think that anything imported is better than the one manufactured in india , it might be true for most cases but not for all .

ya buddy,on ur point of view u r right,even i appriciate u.but like u me also don't think tht every imported material is better than the one manufactured in india.let me descrive u a little bit my point of view.
whenever i decided to purchase an item in bazzar.i always go through the internet.i use to search the latest running material in overall market,there specification,user review etc.after getting all info ,then select the item tht to be purchased.but in most cases all my selections r rarely available in indian market,tht's why i had to import from outside.don't even think i'm happy wth tht,u might know most of times the shipping costs increases the product actual cost.just as my new antec cabinet.msi diamond motherboard etc.i didn't ever say the products available in india market they r bad.but my requirements very rarely available in india.

Techguru...can you give some idea about the whereabouts of this place? I mean any nearby landmark ?

And if I remember correctly, you have one of your friends working in MoserBaer. So can you please ask your friend whether the "Silver" version of MoserBaer (not the "Red/Black" Pro version) is actually manufactured by MoserBaer, or they are actually fake, as claimed by many?

Also, any idea about cost of Maxell DVD+-R ??? And any info about Verabatim dealers in Kolkata ???

Indeed, they are fake since MoserBaer themselves never produce discs w/o the typical logo colors.
