View Full Version : Direct X 9c unable to install....... plz help me.....
Why i'm unable to install Direct X 9c.??
After clicking on direct X 9c, it shows an agreement, after selecting on (ACCEPT) it shows "To start installation, please click to next" After clicking on [Next] without showing any progress it says:
Installation Complete in just 1 second..
But when i checked it in control panel, it still showing direct X 9b.
How can i install successfully???

Actually For me DirectX 9C first extracts to a hard drive and to install i have to dbl click the file called "DXSETUP" .exe from the extracted folder . Did you have a similar kind of setup file.
Does the licence agreement ( Accept / Dont accept ) page shows up . Thats the first screen in the installation process ?
its already extracted on NFS GAME cd.

Get some other copy of DX9C . & if the same problem persists , then the problem may be with ur XP installation , ie it may be affected , corrupted in some way
i've also used other copy.

This is a known issue when u try upgrading from 9.0b to 9.0c. Get a DirectX unistaller (like DirectX Eradicator, DirectX Happy Uninstall, ...) uninstall 9.0b and then try reinstalling DirectX9.0c. It worked out for me
