I have a samsung hdd which was working fine for the last 1 year but now it is having problem and sometimes not shown up in the BIOs,the System stops booting....After successive Reboots HDD gets detected and after that the system works fine...
But when again sytem started some other time it problem of not detecting HDD comes again....

I have checked the cable it is all fine... and this problem comes when i connect it to some other computer also....

Also the F: drive is being checked every time while booting....

I have done chkdsk on alll drives... Initially had some lost chains but now all fine...
Does that mean My hard disk is dying ????

@tech_mastermind: I believe u r asking bad sectors....
Here no bad sectors on My hard disk....on all the drives...

Also If checked with the Speedfan utility it says that Spin up time is having worst value so The performance level which is shown as a bar is low....
Anybody uses speedfan ??

Any software tht tells the SMART parameters and checks the Hard disk status....
