Hi People, I am new here, As I am a 3d Artist I am always looking for more Video memory than anyone could ever had out of his pocket, I already have a 128 mb 5200FX and that Cards Simply Sukx, I am planning to buy a new AGP 8x Card for my budget is around 4-5k. This is my PC till now -

- P4, 2.4 ghz
- 845GV MotherBoard Asrock, AGP 8x Slot
- 1 GB ram
- 80 Gb Hdd
- 128 mb 5200FX XFX

Can anyone tell me which new card to buy for this price?
I mostly work in 3dsmax and play newer games like Godfather, Quake4, Splinter cell3 etc. Hope any one hears me out, cya :)

U can go 4 the nvidia 6200 / 6600 or ATI X300...............AGP cards r expensive these days

u r suggesting him to get a 6200 when he already has a 5200!.....

U can get a 6600 non GT for 4.5k....or get a 6600GT used.....for brands go for XFX ...although a 6600GT would be recommended for u r purposes...

6600GT is good in that price range, check for 256 MB Models

Geforce 6200 should be much better than a FX 5200. But it is still entry level, far from low end.

ya Thanks but I heard that 6600GT might go way above 5.5k, to which I can extend my budget but not more than that, I think 6600 non GT would be fairly under this price. can you guys tell me any indian site(s) where I can check prices regularly?
