One of the best Registry Editor/cleaner is RegCleaner(not from MS,it was Registry Cleaner in Windows).Best of all it's Free.
Download it from here:-
Ther also a software called RegSupreme, which is the BIG brother of RegCleaner(literally  ),it's from the same author and it's very very good at cleaning Registry, but it's a commercial one.
Also try jv16 Power Tools.

hmm
ive used norton systemworks
its one click tool or something like that was good
and very convenient too
now i use system mechanic ....
its pretty good
it stays till i find something better
in conjunction with this i use cr@p cleaner .. tho this doesnt work on registries. but its a good small nifty proggy ;)
