my yahoo messenger is blocked!!

hi ppl,

the place where i work, my administrator has blocked yahoo messenger at proxy. we access net through a proxy. is there any way i can get around this and still be able to chat as if i were chatting from my messenger?

try this ...

get HTTP-Tunnel (http://www.http-tunnel.com/html/) Software
Configure HTTP Tunnel to use the proxy which your network admin gave you
Now, go to Yahoo messenger -> Preferences -> Connections ->
Select SOCKS5 Proxy -> IP:127.0.0.1 Port:1080
Now try to connect ....
