ubuntu and kubuntu on same partition??

please tell me someone that can i install kubuntu on a partition already having ubuntu.

You cant install Ubuntu and Kubuntu on same partition. You must format the partition and install Kubuntu, which will remove ubuntu installations.

But, you can have apps of both in the same partition.
For that you will need installation cd of one and alternate cd of other. Only then will it work.
