Ok PPl
I need a very light firewall for a laptop with
Windows 2000 Pro
PIII (500MHz)
128MB SDRAM
The total memory footprint must not be above 2.5~3MB

How about going for a older version of ZoneAlarm or Kerio Personal Firewall.

Any firewall be very heavy for your laptop.
If you are looking for Sequrity against Spyware/Adware, try Spyware Blaster.
It secures your whole System from known Spywares.
It works even closed.

For anti spy I can install Adaware SE Personal what i need is that it should close ports which are open and allow me to monitor inbound and outbound traffic as in which apps are accessing nw
@ nishant
With the specs I have shown above I am stuck to Win2k as XP will make the laptop crawl
wat about Kerio where can I find it old versions as I think all new ones are demos beside how old version should I look for ?
BTW
I am using Portable firefox for most of internet work and I have Sify connection. Sify ppl do have something that closes ports callled PC guard will it suffice considering
I will be surfing from a non admin a/c and all partitions have NTFS?
