Maybe the CDs are corrupt. Also check the back side of the CDs for any sticky
substance or anything that prevents the CD from being read properly.
I had the same problem once installing Mandriva Linux, it hanged at a particular
point. Then I wiped the CD's backside with a soft dry cloth . Then it installed properly!!!
You can also try using Fedora CDs from your friends circle.

Try with other boot options like 'Safe Graphics Mode' or something. Also remove
the Graphics card , if you have one. After installation you can install the drivers for
GC & configure it.

Did you try using acpi=off and text options? "acpi=off" switches off ACPI mode while "text" option changes the installation method to text mode instead of GUI.

While booting try with other options, @Eddie, has already given the hint.

Or press F1 when booting you will get all the options that can be tried, read what they say and select the appropriate one.
