I want to get Bittorrent up and running

I'm using PCQ linux.
My problems

1) I dont know the version of python. It should be above 2.( If at all there is :) )
2) Is there a GUI for bittorrent?
3) Should I d/l wxPython to get it running.
4) And finally plz give me some commands for bittorrent

Give $ python command on a terminal... if python is installed then it would open up a python command interpreter... $ python -V should print the version...
