I haev installed oracle 9i ...now want to start isql...can any one guide me what step by step what i have to install ..means which option to select as i am unable to start it even after installing it..giving some TNS protocaol error...how can we uninstal ORACLE 9i?

Did u give the user name and password when asked ? Try the default, username-scott, password-tiger.

try reinstaaling a new copy at the same location without removing the current installion

can u tell me how can i uninstall oracle completely....along with registry entries....and also tell me which options to select...

Through Control Panel Is The Best Way..
Bcz, It Also Clears Yor Registry

also try overwriting the install without uninstalling i.e install at the same place again without removing from add/remove programs. atleast give it a try.
btw:whats ur os??

To uninstall Oracle9i Simply remove the directory where you've installed it
and remove every registry entry of it using regcleaner or similar tool
that's it
Or else
Run the Installation program again(of course of oracle 9i) and from there remove the installed items
