Well my previous cell got stolen a few dayz ago :( and nw i need 2 buy a new cell.
I like experimentin wid apps so its definitly gotta b a symbian s60 fone. NW in my school they dont allow camera enabled cells inside da schl premises... so da choice comes down 2 1.. and its obviously da gammers phone.. ngage qd

nw there r few thingz dat i wud like 2 kno..
1) r s60 applications (the ones which works on 6600, except apps involving camera and ir) gonna work n qd?
2) if i doenload any game demo frm da net hw m i gonna install dat?
3)is qd silver ed. havin a 65k. color screen???
4) an i gonna get ne game mmc free wid a brand nu pack?
5) does it support themes??? :S
6)watz da current price of da deck in kolkata?

i suggest u that if u r serious abt gaming and rough handling than the other s(60) type phones u would go ngage qd else try some other phone as many software problems r prone to occur when u put a mmc card especially 512 mb and all the softwares of 6600 will also work in ngage but not many themes are available for ngage qd as like 6600

wat do ya mean??? both 6600 and qd r based on s60 ui so i think if its supported by 6600 then it must b the sm fr qd but i wanna precisely kno dat if it SUPPORTZ themes or not...

no he is correct cos QD is os6.1 nd n6600 is os7.0...
and theme support is mainly after os 7.0

Firstly... I m glad they allow Cellphones in your school

---QD doesn't have 65k colour screen but it has 4096 color screen
---You ll not get any free MMC in the pack
---Current price should be between 6.5-7k

However it is the only s60 phone without camera... hence you don't hav any more options...

I hav a Qd nd i wd recommend dat u take a n6600 arnd 8.5k... Cos most of the s/w r compatible wit os7 nd not Qds os6.1.. Nd the games in Qd r not much to talk abt.. Xcept asphalt,splinter cell,tony hawk nd som oders
