Today I saw the blue screen of death. It told that widows shut down due to file:ha10kx2k.sys.
(page fault in non-paged area)Iwant to know how serious is the error and what should I do to prevent?
Should I do run any maintenance utility programmes?

no .. its just common windows thing
but ofcourse defraging drive and defraging pagefile is a good idea
pagefile cannot be defragmented normally
use this (http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/pagedefrag.shtml) software to defrag pagefile .. its a small utility, no installation or anything
btw, its windows not widows !!

STOP Messages literally mean
Windows has stopped! These appear only in the NT-based operating systems: Win NT, Win 2000, and Win
XP. Most are hardware issues. STOP messages are identified by an 8-digit hexadecimal number, but also
commonly written in a shorthand notation; e.g., a STOP 0x0000000A may also be written Stop 0xA. Four
additional 8-digit hex numbers may appear in parentheses, usually unique to your computer and the
particular situation.
