Internet connection

When I use internet(broadband) ,I disconnect the connection often.Now,i try to connect ,but when I click the 'dial ' button the box disappears and the icon in the network connection window continue toshow that it is disconnected.BUT I STILL ABLE TO BROWSE THE INTERNET WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTION.How to disconnect the connection?

try right click dialer and click 'disconnect and exit'...

btw.. broadband using ethernet link then disable that.. if ppp then disconnect..
Sometimes connection icons goes out if ur computer is faulty !
