CDROM reading probs

I want to know if i can increase the speed of cdrom or not. i mean no the reading or writing speed in terms of X but the speed at which the motor rotates.
i want to increase the rate of rotation of motor so that it will read scratch cds.
and is there any way by which i can remove scrates on cd.
like if u will "jamin mein cd ko jabarjast ghotoge to" it will remove dust on it but how to reomove those linings after u ghoting them.
or is there any trick to reomove a layer in the plastic on the lower surfade of the cdrom

hey man, y do u wanna rub ur CD on the ground to remove the dust?????? :-|
it will 'destroy' the CD......

if u want to remove the dust, just take a fibre-less cloth and rub it in a linear manner from the center to outwards

There is a software on Samsung's website for increasing the spindle speed for samsung optic drives..but with high speeds there is a risk of breaking the CDs...
