amd is usually a killer machine in gamin.but comparin these two
price performance ratio x2 3800+ is costly n 930d nearly gives a 90% performance n uses a 65nm processor
so my q is
which one is better
even im a amd lover
but in this case u answer???

It depends on your usage. If you're into gaming and don't mind spending a little extra, then go for the X2 3800+. If you just want a fast proccy for general usage then save money and go for Intel.
PS AMD has announced massive price cuts on all their proccys after Conroe releases. If you wait a little you could get that X2 3800+ for a whole lot less.

As AMD procs(single as well as dual core) run at relatively lower clocks than Intel nd ferforms as better(or greater) there is theoritically more room for overclocking as temp in not a big problem as Intel nd so AMD is oc friendly nd may give better results.
So I suggest X2 3800+ nd oc it from 2.0Ghz to 2.5 or 2.6Ghz with stock cooling with good ventillation or even higher clocks with a good copper heatsink fan combo.

remember that the Athlon 3800+ X2 will emit less temprature
