dont use GPRS for games, it lags...
for dial up, you can play UT, Warcraft 1/2, tc old games smoothly... But beware playing in communities, if you lag a lot they will ban you... dial up lags a lot...

ya it does...i tried gprs...i cud just play trackmania once n twas just playable...can i try dial-up for condition zero via tcp/ip....i mean it gives error like "flush_entity_packet" n hangs after some time of play...till then it runs smoothly...

Not much ... unless u can ping a server within 100 .. its not worth wasting ur time to play ...

no wez i cud ping a dial-up below 100...atleast d better n newer games....i cud easily play nfs2, midtown, midtown madness 2, ut, condition zero (for 5 mins till it started "flush_entity_packet)...nfs porsche, also managed nfs hp2...etc.

ps: all of above played in private via tcp/ip or peer-to-peer modem...will look for cheaper broadbands or faster than gprs atleast...

cheers

Thats what .. don't think u can really expect the newer games to run anything near to fine ..... maybe some oldies like u mentioned should do a bit ok .....
