INstall Quake Maps

Hi guys
I downloaded two quake maps (with extensins pk3)
One is losangeles
Other I dont remmember
i have copied it into the quake baseq3 dir but I dont know how to access the map
or I have not installed it properly

PLZ HELP

Go to skirmish and brwse for the maps. They will be listed with a possible snapshot of the map. Alternatively if u know the map name then start any game and in the console type /map "mapname"
