New wave sound????

Hi guys ,
I wanted to know this for a long time now that In the right click options , where we have options for new folder , new text document , etc. , there is a option for new wave sound . I couldnt figure out whats the use of this option??? I mean in new text document , we can write text, but in new wave sound , we cant write music or can we???

Ok , I recently noticed that we can record our sound in it with microphone , any other use???I mean can we put sound from other sound files in our system to this file???Any idea?????

u can extarct a part of ur fav song like a tune paste it in new wave sound and it every time u turn the computer on.i nice retreat for ears

I use new wave sound to record audio ...........from phone line and microphone!

1)open the song of your choice
2)select the graph which has the sound u want to extract
3)go to edit>copy
4)file>new wave sound
5)paste it on the new wave sound
6)listen to it save it correct else try againg.


there is a complete manual on nero wave sound which comes in cd
