one of my friends approached me with his pinnacle tv tuner cards problem which is not functioning
The computer detects the card and also asks for the drivers but when the drivers are installed from the bundled cd's autoplay function.The hardware monitor properties show that the drivers are not installed and no IRQ is assigned to the controller. I tried to freshly install the windows and install the drivers afresh but the thing i noticed was that windowsxp sp2 did not load the drivers for the display adapter whereas it was loading them previously during installation. The Pinnacle TV Tuner didnt even run after installing Windows. The computer is a P IV based pc with intel based MOBO and intel extreme grapjics card onboard.
