I just wanna give u one idea
if u want 2 buy an old PC in 5k than u better dont become a buyer but become a seller that is an engineer
One of my friend (he is computer engineer) went to one school from their he purchased some old PC's in 4-5k & in exchage he gave them Brand New PC with a cost of Rs. 22-25k
So better become an engineer open a shop & search for offers like this its really worth

get a damn hand held........
and pray to google ... so they can soon get their online OS online...
(and keep it free) so u will need only thin clients and i think a comp without hdd, ups and with a b/w monitor would do... if it still doesnt crack it for ya then build a cabinate from wood/crap and use ice packs insted of heatsinks inside ur comp.. also think what a 7k pc would probabily would be capable of doing forget the mouse
..... also just before sleeping chant "om computer davaie namah" 11 times....
may be he will grant ur wish and give u a pc free(hopefully one that is 1000years away from the rest of us)
... Peace OuT
Advisory for people who get angry fast: be cool dude, just a joke that might actually work...

Chinese learn to say no to "WinIntel Monopoly"
ya a commercial alternative to Microsoft Windows software and Intel's processor. A chinese player based in Macau -Yellow Sheep River has created a PC tiny in size but enough with computational power.
Its called "MUNICATOR"; based on a 64 bit processor GODSON designed and manufactured in China. The machine which is the size of a thin paper backed novel weights 650gms and it rums a version of open source software Linux called Thinx3.0 YSR (www.yellowsheepriver.com) has created.
It has a 40 Gb HDD, 256Mb Ram, a DVD Drive, toghether with WiFi connectivity and video outputs that can be sent to any television set, make the Municator a cost effective computer that saves on the cost of a monitor.
It sells in China for 1200RMB, $150, Rs.7000
