There's no interview for freelancing; just a writing test. You can e-mail your resume to the editor and things can move forward from there.

There's no interview for freelancing; just a writing test. You can e-mail your resume to the editor and things can move forward from there.

1. You MUST be able to write well (with flair and passion, and have a "style")
2. You should know your technology. Improper research, copy-pasting, incorrect assumptions, etc., will all get a stinker of a mail as a reply from me... especially copy-pasting!!


Please do not ask for topics to write about here. Do not ask about salaries here, an indicative salary (for full-time employee) has been mentioned by fatbeing (Nimish), but that is neither a minimum or a maximum. What you will be paid completely depends on your skills...

Freelance payments will be decided based on the amount of work, the deadline, the quality of work. If i have to sit and re-write your entire article, you get paid a lot less than someone who writes perfectly the first time... get the idea?

Even i flunked in college. Failed in two subject in first time. Applied for second exams and passed in 1 subject. Was going to apply for third exam to get good mark in maths. I did not write the exam i need more time to earn more marks. Did not feel right. Fourth time i was unable to write the exam and was in hospital after a attempt murder by a friend. Went to apply the exam for the fifth time failed again and went to attempt again but to sudden shock the whole 12th standard chapters change.

Then i submited for diploma college. I was unable to go to college. Then this year will be going to college again with lot of courage given. Time to began a new life.


Why iam telling you is because. Never give up. Even if you fail keep trying and trying and trying. Do not worry. D not listen to advice give by bad friends who say give up or things like you are useless and others. Read books like Abdul Kalam. He gave me courage. I also read bible. It gave strength, wisdom, courage and etc. Read also about Mahatma Gandhi books also read biography from Michael Dell and Bill Gates. They too give me wise words.

I'm currently employed in ITES, and I like writting abt. technology but setback myself a I'm not so good a writting skill.

I really like the way you guys write and am glued to an article not only because the contents but also the way the contents are written.

knowledge of Computer is not enought dear all have them..... be specific and take on a single topic ....sit back and do some deep analysis and then write some article for a local news media and then keep fingers crossed .....also try to maintain a blog ( yeah its my exerience dude) some times later may be some one stumbles on your writeablity and hire you as well ..

i have just cleared my HSC this year, so thought to get my hands wet on writing some articles for the Digit mag. My resume is still incomplete coz i hv jst passed 10+2, so i dont knw what should i mention in it, if i write it somehow then u wont get or rather I wont get from where it started and where it ended.

but for now all i can say is that i was very popular among the techies (others also) in my school as i was the only one who would publish weekly articles on the latest technology and the tips and tricks which were quoted as very useful.

i was nicknamed as Computer Freak.

At the barest minimum, the offer is Rs. 1.44 lakhs per annum.
