USB's not working after bios updating

hello der everyone i have D845GVSR i just updated my motherboard with the software available on the intel site after installing it ,it showed successful installation but when i enter into the bios setup nd check USB config there is nothing nd USB is not working plz is there nyway i can rectify this problem
plz help me its urgent

Was the BIOS update for u r BIOS?Try restoring it to the sefault version.

man ut was for my motherboard only and how can i restore it to the default version after updating???

This is a common problem with 845 boards. All you have to do is get into the bios and reset to default settings. If you check out the help file, you will get the same recommendation.

dude just get into the bios by pressing the del or F2 key whichever is applicable, and you will find that option in the BIOS. Save changes and restart. It doesnt get any simpler than this.

man i just did it by getting the jumper off to configure mode nd then resetting the motherboard as the usb was not enabled thnx for ur help man

So did you reset the bios to default settings ? If you did so, things should work out.
