norton troubles

this is a system which has win NT installed on it.the antivirus is not norton but still when u right click on any file before the menu opens the windows installer starts and says its configuring norton antivirus.........what is the problem?

Did you have NAV installed earlier? It looks like the uninstallation was not smooth... Two options - 1. reinstall NAV and uninstall it, or 2. use a registry cleaning software to remove the problem...
