can i resize the partitions and create more partitions out of these using partition logic or other such tools? or do i have to uninstall the OSes before doing that?

Use Norton partition magic.

U cant resize them w/o loss of data unless you use some tool like Ranish etc... so I guess you will end up removing the OSes by resizing w/o tools...

You can resize them at your own risk. No software can
prevent data-loss. So if you have very important files,
better take a backup in a DVD before resizing the
partitions!!

partition magic will solve your problem (to be safe, back data first)
