backup of norton antivirus liveUpdate

i have in my pc windows media center eddition.i installed norton antivirus 2003 which automatic live update on internet.now i feel to re-install windows can i take backup of whole live update.thanks in advance. :?:

I think it deals with keeping a copy of the LiveUpdate folder under App. Data... never tried though... another way is to d/l an EXE of updates here (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-N95.html)
