No serial port on A8N-VM!

now i didnt know this...i assumed A8N-VM will have a serial port...so now i cant connect my modem...is there a simple solution to this? or will i have to buy an internal modem? plz help

No. Check you Mobo manual for availability of a Expansion slot for Serial port. If yes, You can buy one and connect an extra serial port to it.

buy a pci-based serial port card,its available with any hardware vendor and won't cost much,alternate method is converters like serial to usb converters.I don't have any idea about price of these converters

ya i asked 2 vendors in pune..they didnt have the serial to usb convrtrs...so guess wil have to get an internal modem...
