Is 98 really dead ??????? Help

I have Intel 915GEV motherboard and i install 98 but they show BSOD "System Halted" message is appear. how do i run win98 on intel915GEV motherboard?????

i dont think intel's 9xx series supports 98... MS has also stopped its support for it and by the way this question shud be in QnA... reporting

I don't think you can install win98 on Intel 915 boards.Intel boards like 915 and 925 don't support win98.
Also why is this question in Latest news????

now its in qna .. any way ,

915 doesnt support 98 . u can get into 98 only in the safe mode. i found some bioses that offer options so that 98 can be used on 915 . all the same , intel aint provinding graphics drivers for 915 on 98 anymore. so it wud just be like safe mode with 16colors.

OR u hav to install some old old PCI graphics card , worse than ur onboard graphics and try it.
if u ask its not worth it.

yes intel stopped support of 98 with 915 board
