3230 formatting

i have a 3230. and it is corrupted now..i need to format the phone..
i trid 7780 code..but it just restores the factory defaults..nothing much...
can anyone tell me anyother ways to format...



heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i tink.
for 6600 users, to format the fone, theres an alternative way. Press and hold <3>, <*>, and the buttons, then power on fone, keep holding on the 3 buttons, till u come to a format screen. tis method ONLY works on 6600, and need not enter the sec code. BUT sec code wun be reset to default 12345.

my recommendation would be to take it to a nokia priority dealer............ they install the new firmware..........

Well,i tried the three button combo on my phone,and it worked.Let me tell u again:

* + Call + 3 + Power

Try it again.It'll work.

IM NOT SURE ABOUT THIS >>>>

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.

3. Switch-off your phone.

4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!


5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 3230 will back to original system and factory settting.
