hi

I am using AMD 2500+, K800VM via mother board with 256 DDR 333Mhz & 80Gb SATA HDD .I tried with mandrake 10 its working but redhat(other versions of Linux) !!!!. can any one tell me what are the setting to be changed to load the redhat/fedora this very Ridiculous that i could not install redhat. plz help me out in

What is the error you get ?

Press [F2], [F3], [F4] to get a list of parametres and use them along with
linux <parametre>
to try text mode
linux text
post if any error message occured in the output
If you get something such as
[C009786] sumthin like that..
kernel_thread_helper
type any garbage string at prompt and then press [enter] shud work. If it doesn't file a bugreport at
bugzilla.redhat.com
along with ALL the error message or any kernel panic you get. You may have to register at bugzilla.

Which version of redhat are you using? Older versions of redhat/fedora do not support SATA drives.
