Something gone wrong with ''My Computer''

Previously when I clicked on My Computer icon it shows Administrative
Documents and Shared Documents Icon along with the partition drive and
optical drives.But now the icons named Administrative Documents and Shared Documents are vanished.Is there any configuration which I haved Unchecked?
Any process to retain the earlier settings.

if u were/are using TweakUI xp, goto My Computer --> then check Files stored on my computer... then the files will get displayed.

The prob solved by entering a new registry key,before I saw ur answer so the process u told might also work. By the way thanks for spending time and giving me the solution.
