Hotmail in outlook ! ! !

i use 2 access my hotmail acc through OE ... bt 4 few days i didnt have time 2 do so ...


now OE refuses 2 work with hotmail ... 2 check y, i logedon the site 2 check my mails ...


My acc. had expired & i had 2 activate it again ... after activation, OE says "service stopped" ...


has anybody faced same problem ??? & how 2 make hotmail work with OE again ??? ...

why don't you try GMAIL or YAHOO MAIL, they don't expire so quickly and gave you much more account size, comparing to HOTMAIL.

You can configure yahoo account on hotmail. The incoming and outgoing server are -
Incoming Server - pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com

The problem looks like somethings wrong on your side , in your configuration.

Try reconfiguring it .

"hotmail no longer allows email access via OE for free email accounts" ...

ie: same function as yahoo pop does 2 get yahoo mails in OE ...

You just might try Office Outlook 2003.

Its been working perfectly for me.

I dont think so. Bcos my MSN account has been working perefectly. I had done the reactivation thingy many times (always went in vain) and also moved on the Windows Live Mail.

But Outlook's getting all mails perfectly. Also Outlook 2003 is waaaaaaay better than Outlook Express
