Problem in detecting keyboard

hey guys,
i am using a ASUS A7V motherboard and Athlon 64bit processor.
when i press DEL during the boot, it enters into the BIOS setup, but no key is working once it enters. i am not able to make any changes in the bios.
i want to change the boot preference in the bios setup.
i have tried doing it with both PS/2 & USB keyboard.
somone please help me.

I have few questions for u
1)Are the keys on the keyboard fine??
2)does the keyboard works on the os has loaded?
3)have u disabled any options in the BIOS?
