i had bought a ps\2 mouse and a keyboard but i do not have any ps\2 port but i have 2 usb ports , 1 pci slot, and 1 seriall port. please help me as i don't want to upgrade my mobo.

do u own a old motherboard,then hold on they are ps/ converters like ps/2 to
din connector or ps/2 to serial port converter.I have seen them on many old pc I don't know about the cost and avaliablity now.

It's better to use a ps/2 to usb converter. I use a single usb port for connecting my keyboard and mouse.

Use a PS/2 to USB converter dude... and smile... ur problems are over within 100 bucks..... ofcourse ur mobo should support USB port... else go for the serial port.....

Get a ps2 to serial adapter for your mouse.
It comes very cheap .
Some 15 to 20 bucks.
And it works fine too.
