Try the Powerarchiver 2006. It offers quite a large number of format. Although not of much use, as the most widely accepted ( the best ) format is Rar. So, even winrar is gr8.
It offers the best combination of speed and compression.

I'd go w/ QwertyManiac's reply.
U hv all the solutions listed, but my choice is WinZip for its sheer ease of usage.

Give it a shot .. you wont repent it one bit.

WinRAR is the best it can handle both RAR and ZIp
file formats and offer greater compression than winzip
if you cant belive try it yourself.
Winrar have advanced features like ability to browse ISO file.[It is the tool for Advanced users]
But the interface is not good as winzip but who cares ?

No way, any other sofware is near to UHARC. Winrar & WinZip are far behind the UHARC. It is ultra high compression utility, basically for multimedia. There are many games, which otherwise fits into 2-3 cds but using this utility they can be made to fil in one cd itself. I downloaded a prerelease nero 7, which was compressed to 77 mb by uharc for ease of download and when i exracted it, I was surprised to see it as 548 mb.

Thus UHARC is the ultimate compressing software.

my vote goes to zip genius. its free to download and run adn supports a ton of compression formats
