Hi
I have a Gainward GeForce FX 5200 256 mb graphics card. I have started overclocking it with the built in utility provided by gainward. But i'm scared that it might overheat so i want 2 know if there is any utility that can monitor temperatures on the graphics card.thanx in advance :)

When you go to the graphic properties you will see GPU temperature or temperature settings option there. It shows the current temp of the graphic card. Since you have overclocked your card could you check and see if movies play properly without any discoloration. I had also overclocked my old 6600 and it got messed up when playing movies other than that everything is working fine. Even after a reformat, reinstall of WIN XP the problem persists.

Monitoring temperatures depends solely on the GPU in question - the FX series never supported temperature monitoring AFAIK. Only the newer 6xxx series support temperature monitoring.
P.s: Nice Car PC you got in your avatar ! Did you fix that up yourself? :)
