recently i have thought to purchase dvd players .
but i have heard from many of friends that new dvd players have came market which can play divx video files directly on dvd players .
so i am about to purchase a samsung dvd player and one of its feature is divx playback.So will this dvd player directly play divx files. and what about making divx video cd. Is there some software for burning divx video cds or directly i have to make a data cd in nero of divx video files so that it will be played on dvd players. please help meand actually i stay in india(mumbai).so please tell me the best dvd player available in india on which i can play divx video files.

If it says it can play... it should..

About making CD's ... u'll have to make data cd's to be played

You can check out the Philips players which are DivX compatible. However, there are certain restrictions depending on the encoding process used for the DivX file. But for the most part, it should play DivX discs just fine.
