TATA Indicom has launched their online music store. This store can be accessed by people on Indicom IP’s only.

With a repertoire of over 300,000 songs across all genres like Pop, Rock, Films, Regional, Spirituality and more you will be sure to find your kind of music in the Tata Indicom Broadband music download store.

Each song you download gets stored on your computer and you can listen to it as many times as you like. You can also make 2 copies of it, one to a CD and another to a portable music player.

So go ahead and build up your music collection. Pick you favourite singer and download entire albums, or pick individual songs and create your own personal album.

And it costs as little as Rs 9.99 a song.

India now has a rival for the iTunes music store. Has anyone tried it?

lol...
Why restrict access to their ISP only? There is no way they are gona make any one of us shift to their wayyyyyy over priced broadband for this service..
I mean comeon think logical. At Rs 10 i might actiually buy songs from there. but i wont switch my ISP for that.

I have to agree...

Rs. 10 for a good song is cheap.. but I guess Indian ISPs just can't think logically.. :sigh:

well, i can say only one thing,

Great product, Lousy sales department

if they allow others to access it, & pay via their ISB bill, then this could be a boon to the Indian music industry, U buy the song & bill for the song will be added to your ISP bill, good trick as many people don't have credit card online

Trying to fool illiterate Indian netizens again? How long will our so called "IT MAJORS" be doing this. 10/song is not bad but can be cheaper and this looks like another scam to get more users Tata's way. Oh! &Tata could rake up loads of profits if they open this to everyone.
