Hi,
I ve got a new broadband connection at home and running windows XP(without sp2). Can anyone suggest a good firewall which can downloaded for free? I heard that the SP2 pack in Win XP has and supports this..as i ve got a pirated version of it...sp2 doesnt support. pls help.

First of all, get rid of the pirated version, if u can't maintain it. And if u can't install SP2, and also the updates, what good is ur XP? Nothing better than a sitting duck!! So, I suggest go get a legal copy or be prepared to educate urself.
Furthermore, piracy is a TABOO here, so expect this topic to be locked any moment now.
BTW, did u about hear anything called google?

Zone Alarm has a free version too. Easy config for newbies.

well if configured properly the built in xp firewall is sufficient.

nd i dont think XP's inbuilt firewall is sufficient... !
