ya i did a project on ewaste...
most of the ewaste comes from the US.. which has yet to sign the BAsel action treat.. by the basel action network that prevents the country to export electronic waste to other countries..
and as such exporting e-waste is totally legal there.
and india too is set to generate millions of tonnes of e-waste in coming years.
we are sitting on a time bomb that`s waiting to explode.. ..

Its high time we Indians should start having a taste and should be ready to pay extra for something called quality. The reason for dumping is the demand for such cheap junks. Often I think what the hell Sam and others think of our country? Its simply making all of us feel so much boil in our blood.
