nhl2002 patch problem

i tried to update my nhl 2002 through the updater in the game but it gives some kind of castanet error. can someone explain to me why this error comes? and if possible can someone give me the direct link from where i can download the patch manually. i would be very grateful.

no i am running it on win98. and the second link gives just the fixes of the patch . not the patch . i want the patch.
