polyphonic ringtones = wat pc format?

can some1 plz. tell wat format are the polyphonic ringtones that can be saved into mobile 4m pcs?

Polyphonic ringtones r actually MIDI files with extensions either .midi or .mid.
U can d/l a lot of MIDI files from net and can transfer them from PC to ur mobile using various s/w available on net...

also, wat r True Tones

True tone actually means: wav/amr/awb

*wav file r rather big, 1 min of default setting wav file can take up to 15mb of ur phone space
*amr only took up to 60kb of the same length of time
*awb only took to max 240kb of the same length of time

Difference between Polyphonic and True tones is that In True tones u can play real sounds, like ur own recording, animal sounds, etc. But in polyphonic its not possible...

U can d/l MIDI files from net and can modify them ( resize or make supportable by phone ) using Nokia PC Suite available on Nokia site.

For true tones, u can d/l AMR files too from net and if u hv MP3 files then u can convert them in AMR using Nokia Multimedia Converter avilable on Nokia forum.
