Guys!
Today I opened 10 pages approx. in one firefox windows (in tabs).
And after a few minutes the firefox automatically closed.
Very strange!
Many times I hv opened 20-25 pages in one single windows, but firefox never crashed!
It happened to me first time!
Did ne1 face similar problem ever?
Can ne1 tel me the reason?

Can't tell the reason but nowdays my 1.0.6 crashes often giving memory block error messages. Upgrade yours to 1.0.6 Maybe that can help.

I used 1.0.6 many days and found 1.0.5 better than this.
Thats why now I'm using 1.0.5
I think we hv to wait till the Final version of 1.5

Only firefox was running...
And AVG Anti virus was running in background.

No Indyan its not like that,
FF never crashes like IE does, atleast not for me and my known friends,
Well notepad might crash if u open a too big file but if u wait a little longer it will open, etter use wordpad for large files. (i.e. >16mb)

@VG - Do u use a lot of extensions coz i think that mght have used up all the memory and caused this ...

U can look in Favorite Firefox Extensions thread.
I use only 4 extensions:

Bug Me Not
Extended Statusbar
Reload Every
jsLibLite

And I always use these extensions, not like i recently installed them.
Don't know why it crashed?

Well, it happened many times on my comp when I was using 1.03. It was mainly when system resources were more and the comp. hanged up for a while. Now, I use Deer Park (1.0+) and well, though system resources are sometimes more and a larfe no. of pages are open, it does not crash...
Upgrade it and make the system a li'l light..
BTW, I agree with @Indyan. Well, of course, any software on Windows will crash sometime.. I have not crashed Notepad, though!! LOL!

Hi Vishal ,

Well there is no need to be strange when FF crashed

It might be due to many reasons such as

memory overload , a bug , may be a virus too

Also does this happens always ?

If not then no problem . afterall windows is built to crash  and every program of windows either have crashed or may crash

So dont be worry

If this happens regularly then ther might be problem with the FF and it extenisons

reinsatlling it may fix it

Thanks ,
Regards...

Install session saver extension also. SessionSaver restores your browser -exactly- as you left it, every startup, every time. Not even a crash will phase it.
