INTERNET RELATED PROBLEM -- PLZZZ....

I am running Windows XP SP2, with Norton Internet Security 2005

The problem : :cry:

I connect to internet via dial up. Ok before i connect everything is fine.
Now as soon as i connect I can not open other applications. i.e suppose i try to open a notepad document but it will not open and for that matter any application. Now When i disconnect all the apps that i had clicked start opening one by one. So What is the problem ??? Help me

NAV 2005 eats up a lotta memory!
I think its bcoz of ur slow internet connection!
1.Try disabling Nav 2005,connect to internet and then open notepad!
2. Get Cable connection then resume ur work!

i wonder why are u using norton -- my friend,,, norton just eats up ur ram and when connected to internet ---- ur ram gets more used up... if u use a dial up or even any other connection then better get some small security program.. and what is ur machine config??? its new or an old machine(p3)

i agree. dump norton (when ur subscription gets over) and switch over to avast or avg.
